On the Friday that I was in Germany Kostja was busy with other business so I got to spend most of the day wandering on my own in Berlin.   He dropped me off at Potsdamer Platz after breakfast and away I went.
The very old style but new construction was a continuing theme in Berlin not sure why I didn't expect it since lots of Berlin is pretty new. Again with the public art

From my starting point at Potsdamer Platz I went opposite the tourist's choice, away from the Reichstag and Brandenburg gate.     I left those for the end of the day.

The sign claimed this was a gallery but it was apparently between exhibits. There was one piece inside and it was locked up tight.   There were some very cool large sculptures around the building.

Signs of world domination And the best of America comes to Berlin. ?? I meant to ask about this, it appear to be a place to drop off unwanted firearms, especially semi-automatics There are a bunch of bears in Berlin, I only found a handful of them but I'd love to take a few days and try to find them all.

I love the eyebrows on this building Even the train station was cool. The churches are beyond cool all over Europe.
